Google has just release a new search trend product called Google Insights. According to an article about Insights in Wednesday's New York Times, Insights is a new-and-improved version of Google Trends. Though I haven't previewed it in depth yet, it looks like it may be a valuable complement to Google Trends.
Insights enables you to compare search terms across various categories, including:
- Seasonality
- Geographic Location
- Time/Date Ranges
In addition, much like Trellian Industry Keyword Research, Insight offers industry-specific terms as well. Spokespeople for Insights claim it is designed with Internet marketers in mind.
